Awarded by the Rt. Hon Alun Michael MP Minister of State for Industry. This award will be achieved by installers who meet the high standards set by Government bodies within the industry. This standard will be goal for accredited installers throughout the industry, assuring customers a technician trained to the highest standard, a competent and highly trained individual who meets the most exacting standards of excellence. Ray Bridge was also an Approved Digital Adviser for DigitalUK from 2006 until 2011 and is Approved by ‘FREESAT’. Registered with Staffordshire Trading Standards and is committed to provide materials and workmanship to an high standard.

The ceremony was launched by the Rt Hon Alun Michael at The House of Commons. He presented the first award to Raymond Bridge of Active Aerials & Systems of Lichfield in Staffordshire.

Ford Ennals, Chief executive of Digital UK, added: “We intend to maximize awareness of this certification and promote the qualification through our marketing and free digital helpline”. This will assure the public an engineer with commitment to safe work practice
